WANDERfull

They said that one of the perks of being single is that you will be closer to your family, which I think applies on my case. My 2017 is really a blast, because never in my dreams that I will be in a great place with a heart-warming smile. Honestly this trip was not planned. It was Sunday when we decided to go and experience Ilijan's fiesta in Batangas City and of course to visit the miraculous church of St. Michael the Archangel the next day, May 08, 2017. At first I was so reluctant to come because I'm super sad that time, but I'm so glad that my family didn't give me a chance to refuse. Upon arriving at Batangas Pier, we got a van to take us to Ilijan Batangas.

The road was surprisingly curvy and edgy—feels like my heart will jump out of my chest at any moment, but nothing can be compared to the breath-taking view which my eyes savor during that trip.

We first attended the mass in San Michael the Archangel Parish, which the locals said miraculous. It was cute 😊, it's kinda small but it's well furnished.

After the mass we went to visit some acquiantances and of course our relatives. There, I came to realize that Batangeños are indeed hospitable and warm. They offered us good food and quality time to reminisce happy times in the past. After bidding goodbye and some picture taking with them, we went to admire the view to Sto. Niño Chapel and of course Monte Maria Shrine which was also one of a kind— it can be considered as Batangas' pride.

I was so amazed upon seeing the shrine nearer, because honestly, I thought it was just a windmill from far behind. Everything was memorable and every second spent was treasurable.

Indeed, Nothing can be compared to a trip which was experienced and shared with your beloved family.  

'Till I set my bare foot on you again Batangas City. I'll definitely come back someday.
