"Love is not for those who are 'marupok' and weak" A huge question mark suddenly formed on my head upon reading this statement. Confusion started to embrace my well being and creep in my brain system. Tell me, when can you say that a certain individual is 'marupok'? Someone got me an explanation which states that being 'marupok' is when somebody easily fall for someone whose giving her attention. Another explanation I've got is when a lover gives too many chances to her partner eventhough the latter doesn't deserve it. These definitions saddened the inner part of me. I've been burned because of love and been single for 4 long and isolating years, but never did I tell somebody that love is not for him/her. Can we say that love is not for those who have a pure heart? Those who, eventhough suffered a lot because of love, still choose to entertain those persons who are knocking and showing care? Those who are longing for true and long lasting love? And most importantly, those who still choose to see the beauty of love and trust the sweet kisses of tomorrow's promise? Tell me, don't they deserve love? A perfect world is not the place where we are living. People hate, people cursed, and people commit mistakes. But people are people and people have flaws. You know what beautiful about people? It's the fact that they are capable of loving. They said that true love only knocks once and when it hits you, you are doomed. With the beauty of love and being loved in return, where can you get that courage to say that love is not for those who are giving too much chances for an undeserving person? Tell me, are you willing to easily let go of the love which once so warm and comforting? Can you easily let go of that love you waited for so long and prayed to God every sad and longing nights? Who are you to tell them that they are 'marupok' when in the first place it's never you who experienced the beauty of love with that undeserving person they are giving too many chances to? And lastly who are you to tell them that because they are 'marupok' love is not for them?

My heart is aching right now. Little by little this world is changing and pure hearts are getting bitter. I've been into mess and surely I messed a lot, but I still believe in the beauty of love. This world is full of love—starting from the tiny particles up to the large part of a system. And with the aesthetic appeal of love and life, no one has the right to say that love is not for those who are 'marupok' and weak. 😉
